Based in Lisbon, The Peculiar Eye is a sort of journal that values observation over urgency. It doesn’t follow a fixed schedule, instead appearing when the time is right. Through an assortment of content, The Peculiar Eye aims to share stories and capture moments that will fascinate the curious and inspire the imagination.

Our aim with each issue is to offer a collection of images and stories that will allow you to pause for a moment, and enjoy captured fragments of life worthy of a second look.

There is a particular joy in veering off the beaten path—not to escape, but to discover. The best bits of life aren’t always in the spotlight - they’re tucked away. To seek out the peculiar is to reawaken wonder. It’s to discover. Lifes not meant to be polished, but rather it's playful, messy, full of strange beauty and intriguing mysteries. Every twist in the path isn’t just a change in direction—it’s an invitation.
